Y’all, you know what screams July 4th party to me? Peaches and Bourbon.
I got with Henry, bartender extraordinaire at Pint Central to create some cocktails that are easily made at home. For these cocktails we used 1792 Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Tito’s Handmade Vodka from Austin, TX. Recipes are below!
The 15th State
1oz 1792 Bourbon
2oz Looza Peach concentrate (found at Healthy Home Market)
1/4oz of simple syrup
Splash of fresh lemon juice
Shake with ice and strain into ice filled glass
Garnish with Blueberries
Battle of Watermelon Creek
1 1/2oz of Tito’s Handmade Vodka
2 large watermelon cubes (lightly muddled to release juices)
1oz Simple Syrup
½oz Orange Juice
Splash of Lenny Boy Ginger Kombucha (gingerale can be used as a substitute)
Shake with ice and serve in ice filled glass
Garnish with fresh watermelon cube
